OVERVIEW

Magbak is an LA based Ecommerce brand founded by Alex Baca. The company offers sleek mobile device accessories with built-in earth magnets that allows mounting of your mobile device to any magnetic surfaces while also allowing wireless charging capabilities.

Already having been a fairly established company, Magbak wanted to continue scaling their brand with goals of doubling revenue over the course of a year but was having difficulty achieving this goal after the iOS14 update.

After working with Adspace to develop, execute, and launch customer acquisition & retention strategies focused on scale and profitability, Magbak is now on track to meet and exceed their YoY growth targets.

THE CHALLENGE

Magbak had done a great job at building their customer base but was finding it difficult to continue to scale to meet their growth target goals with their current strategies.

Because of this, they partnered with Adspace to develop a full funnel digital marketing strategy to acquire new customers profitably, and retarget existing customers to increase lifetime value.

Adspace had to develop customer acquisition and retention strategies to circumvent the iOS14 update to scale Magbak’s Ecommerce business in a profitable manner.

Our partnership began with an in-depth audit and assessment of Magbak’s website, products, customer demographics, and current strategies to identify key areas of opportunity and optimization.

We immediately began implementing paid advertising campaigns for Facebook that were developed specifically to counteract the iOS14 update and ensure profitability on the platform.

Next we implemented search, display, and shopping ads on Google and Youtube to ensure we were capturing all high intent traffic currently shopping for our products.

Finally, we implemented fully automated email marketing campaigns on Klaviyo to increase customer lifetime value by retargeting existing customers to cross-sell/upsell them.
